American Canyon High School provides a 21^st century learning environment centered on our core values of Relationships, Relevance and Achievement.  We offer instructional programs that support these core values.  Students work in a one-to-one laptop computing environment that centers on project based learning as the framework for integrated and collaborative learning for all students.  Our staff places a high value on fostering positive student relationships that personalize the learning environment for individual students and promotes success for all.  American Canyon High School is a leader in innovative instructional practice and 21^st century teaching and learning.  The opportunity to serve our students, parents, and community is truly a privilege.  As our school continues to develop we will always put students first and place an emphasis on learning by doing.  On behalf of our entire staff, welcome to ACHS and thanks for visiting our website.

American Canyon High School is proud to be a member of the New Tech Network of schools. The New Tech approach to education and learning is centered on project-based learning, the smart use of technology to aid in exploration and performance, and the development of a school culture that promotes trust, respect, and responsibility. The New Tech Network (NTN) is centered on a systemic holistic change that is driven by: culture that empowers, teaching that engages, and technology that enables. The three “R’s” at a NTN school are Relationships, Relevance, and Rigor. At NTN schools students are the center of the learning activity, not teachers. Students work together to construct meaning and develop a shared understanding of high level concepts. Students are accountable to themselves, their peers, and their teachers.
